Dance 2020!

Welcome to Dance 7, 8 and 9! Students have been working hard on developing a warm up sequence with stretching and body conditioning in groups or pairs. Students are continuing to learn how to work in a team- how having a positive attitude and commitment to the group is essential. Grade 7's discussed Ukrainian immigration in Canada and are now learning a Ukrainian dance. Grade 8's are working on musical theater, story telling and have started a dance from Teen beach movie. Grade 9's will be discussing the era of the roaring 20's and democracy. They are working on the Charleston and a routine that is inspired by this time.
